Saehawks rookie DE Alton Robinson could make his NFL debut on Sunday.
The stars were out in full swing for the Seahawks in their Week 1 win over the Falcons as Russell Wilson and Jamal Adams paved the way for a Seattle victory in Atlanta.

The Seahawks’ best players led them to their first win of the season and other big-name players such as Greg Olsen, DK Metcalf and Chris Carson all found the endzone for Seattle.
This week, the Seahawks face off against the 1-0 New England Patriots at home on Sunday Night Football. On Friday, Seahawks insider Stacy Rost of 710 ESPN Seattle’s Tom, Jake and Stacy was asked to pick breakout players for Seattle against New England. Here were her choices.
“My No. 1 pick was initially (running back) Carlos Hyde,” she said.
Hyde signed with the Seahawks in free agency this offseason after a 1,000-yard season with the Houston Texans in 2019. He is serving as the backup to Carson, who found the endzone twice as a receiver, but it was Hyde who had Seattle’s lone rushing score of the day in Atlanta. Carson’s ability to catch the football is intriguing for this offense and could lead to Hyde getting touches in a different way while Carson gets work as a receiver.
“He’s got great hands. I would love to see (Carson) get more touches this week, but I would also like to see him remain a part of that pass game also. I wouldn’t mind if his touches were split between receptions and carries,” Rost said. “He is their best running back, but I am very curious to see what they have in Carlos Hyde. I think they’re curious to see what they’ve got in Carlos Hyde and I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up getting more touches potentially, or at least got some of those goal line carries, right? I think I’m expecting a big breakout game for him and finally getting to see what you’ve got there in your running back group with (Rashaad) Penny on the PUP list.”
On the other side of the ball, defensive end Rasheem Green, who led all Seahawks defenders with four sacks in 2019, is doubtful to play. That could open the door for a rookie who turned heads in training camp.
“The second one, with this news that Rasheem Green is doubtful (with a stinger), I would expect Alton Robinson to get his very first (NFL snaps),” Rost said. “I don’t know if he’s got a chance to be a breakout star with some of his very first snaps in the NFL, but I would sure love it if that was the case.”
