Being an adult can be hard, and sometimes you probably wish you could go back in time to when it was acceptable to spend afternoons playing with toys. If that sounds about right, you may be interested in a new position that pays $1,170 to test and review some new Nerf products. Here’s what to know.
What the job entails
The team at TheToyZone is looking for someone to play with and then review a selection of products from Nerf’s new Halo range. The successful candidate’s duties will include:
- Rigorously testing (aka playing with) these toys
- Telling TheToyZone:
– What do you love about each blaster?
– What don’t you like that much about the toys?
– What is your verdict? - Taking close-up photos of each of the products
- Recording an unboxing video
- Recording a video of you testing the products out in the field (check out their video for the MA40 for inspiration)
For their services, the toy tester will receive:
- $1,170.00
- Nerf Halo Bulldog SG Blaster
- Nerf Halo Mangler
- Master Chief helmet with reflective visor and sidelights
The products will be sent to you via Amazon.
How to apply for the job
In order to be considered for the position, you must be at least 18-years-old and a resident of the United States or United Kingdom. And although you don’t need to be a Halo expert (or even a fan), applicants are expected to do some research into the Halo universe for background on the product, and why Hasbro worked on this collaboration.
To apply, fill out this form (scroll to the bottom of the page), including explaining in 100 words or fewer why this toy testing position would be your dream job. All applications will need to be submitted by November 12th 2021.
The winner will be announced live on Twitter at @EnterTheToyzone on November 29, 2021 at 10 am PST, contacted via email after that, and will have seven days to accept or decline the offer.
