New England’s love affair with quarterback Mac Jones is still going strong and Patriots fans want the rookie’s girlfriend, Sophie Scott, to know it.
Ahead of Thursday night’s showdown between the Patriots (6-4) and the Falcons (4-5) in Atlanta, Scott took to Instagram to promote the clothing retailer, These Three Boutique, while modeling away game attire.
While fellow NFL WAG and mom-to-be, Hillary Trubisky, dropped a trio of “fire” emojis in the comments section of Scott’s post, some Patriots fans took the opportunity to celebrate their prized quarterback.
“Yeasssss Mac Jones the future hall of famer!” one fan exclaimed, while another declared that the 23-year-old rookie “is the 🐐” – the goat being a nod to the “greatest of all time.”
“Mac Jones is a 🐐,” another posted.
Jones, the 15th overall pick in this year’s draft, has recorded 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions so far this season. He had a standout performance in Week 10 against the Browns, completing 19 of 23 attempts for 198 yards.
In Sunday’s win over Cleveland — New England’s fourth straight — Jones logged a 142.1 passer rating, the highest by a rookie in Patriots history and the eighth-highest by any rookie in NFL history with a minimum of 20 attempts, according to Stathead.
Although Scott remains Jones’ biggest fan, the Alabama product has earned praise from around the league, including Chiefs defensive back Tyrann Mathieu and retired Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, the BFF of New England’s favorite son, Tom Brady.
“The kid is dealing… @MacJones10,” Edelman tweeted Sunday.
As for Scott, who has been dating Jones since 2019, it seems she’ll have a front-row seat Thursday to see the impressive rookie in action.
