Anderson Silva's UFC career will come to a close tonight in Las Vegas when he squares off with Uriah Hall in the UFC Fight Night main event. The bout marks the end of an Octagon career that began in 2006, which was both the year of Silva's UFC debut and his capturing the promotion's middleweight championship.
The greatest middleweight in history, Silva has fallen on hard times since losing the title in July 2013, battling to just a 1-6 record in his seven most recent fights. In Hall, he meets a man who, at his best, is one of the most dangerous strikers in the division, though has proven inconsistent in his Octagon career, with a 8-7 UFC record.
The bout between Silva and Hall headlines the card from the UFC APEX, with the main card kicking off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
